Why We Started Netivo

Our Story

It started with a phone call.

A grandmother, sharp and independent her entire life, called her daughter in tears. She had just sent $3,000 to someone claiming to be from the IRS. She knew something felt wrong, but the fear and pressure overwhelmed her. By the time she realized it was a scam, the money was gone — and so was her confidence.

Stories like this happen every day. Seniors lose billions to fraud each year. Children face cyberbullying and online predators before they understand the risks. And families struggle to bridge the technology gap that separates generations.

Netivo was founded to change this.

We believe that cybersecurity education shouldn't require a computer science degree. It shouldn't be intimidating, condescending, or full of jargon. It should be warm, patient, and practical — meeting people exactly where they are.
